January 2018 Intake

The January 2018 intake is now open to specific partner institutions by prior agreement and/or invitation. Partners are advised to keep checking this webpage for updates.

To assist partners and their students with the exchange application process, please refer to the documents below.
Applicants must complete the application. Two versions of the application are available and either version is acceptable for submission. PC users can use either form. Apple/Mac users must only use the Form Filler Version. Prior versions of this application will not be accepted. Students with questions about their application should contact their exchange coordinator.  
This document will assist students with completing the application form.
It is important that applicants and their exchange coordinators read this document as well as refer to the information on the webpage entitled "CSU Subject/Course Information" as it will assist applicants with selecting campuses. Brief course descriptions are available on all campus websites. Course syllabi/outlines are provided on the first day of class and usually not made available prior to the term.
This document will help students, exchange coordinators and advisors understand the course numbering system at the CSU campuses.
This document explains the English language proficiency requirements for exchange applicants. Note: Test scores must be sent with the application to the address below.
 
The application with attachments must be sent directly from the partner university to the CSU Office of International Programs by the dates shown below.

CSU Campuses

August  4

Bakersfield, East Bay*, Maritime Academy, Pomona*, San Bernardino*, San Luis Obispo*. Late applications for these campuses will not be considered.

August 15

Channel Islands, Chico, Dominguez Hills, Fresno, Fullerton, Humboldt, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Monterey Bay, Northridge, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San José, San Marcos, Sonoma and Stanislaus.

*East Bay, Pomona, San Bernardino and San Luis Obispo campuses operate on the quarter system.
